Meet Roslima, a humanitarian worker and a participant of RCBP (Rohingya’s Capacity Building Pilot).
Roslima received a six months intensive trainings from RSN and is about to take an initiative to empower Rohingya girls and women.

The 2nd period of RCBP is designed for the trained individual like Roslima to take their own initiative and share their learning with the wider reach community.

My name is Roslima. As a humanitarian worker, my passion lies in helping those in need. Currently, I am dedicated to providing aid to the vulnerable Rohingya refugees in the world's largest refugee camp, located in Bangladesh.
RCBP, the program I have been a part of for the past six months, has truly been a transformative experience that I never expected. Through their comprehensive curriculum, I have gained a wide range of topics as below;
1. Professional Writing
2. Research Methodologies
3. Organizational Behaviour
4. Civic Education
5. Journalism
6. Women's Rights
7. Gender-Based Violences
8. History of Rohingya and Myanmar
9. International justice process for Rohingya
10. Effective Advocacy Training
11. Documenting Human Rights Violation
12. Leadership Skills
13. Project Management
14. International justice mechanism
RCBP has done an exceptional job in providing me with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in these areas. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a remarkable program.
RCBP has been an incredible program that has enriched my knowledge and skills in various areas. The four topics that I enjoyed mostly from RCBP, namely;
1. Prooject management,
2. Research methodology,
3. Professional writing, and
4. Photojournalism, have been particularly impactful to my life.
Through project management, I have learned how to effectively plan, organize, and execute tasks, enabling me to handle complex projects with confidence.
The research methodology module has equipped me with the tools and techniques to conduct thorough and systematic research, ensuring the validity and reliability of my findings.
Professional writing has honed my ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, enhancing my overall writing skills.
Lastly, photojournalism has allowed me to capture powerful images that tell compelling stories, giving me a unique perspective on storytelling.
The best thing about RCBP is their comprehensive approach to learning, providing practical knowledge and hands-on experience. As a result of these learnings, I have witnessed significant changes in myself, such as improved organizational skills, enhanced critical thinking abilities, and a deeper understanding of the power of visual storytelling and so other. RCBP has truly empowered me to excel in these areas and has been instrumental in my personal and professional growth.
Before joining RCBP, my dream was to be a good role model, someone who could inspire others through my actions and achievements. However, after being a part of this incredible program, my dream has evolved into something much bigger. Now, my dream is to support my vulnerable community in every possible way, addressing their needs and empowering them to create positive change.
The knowledge and skills I have gained from RCBP have equipped me with the tools to turn this dream into a reality. With the understanding of project management, research methodology, professional writing, and photojournalism, I am now determined to develop a comprehensive project like RCBP that addresses the specific challenges faced by my community. I want to utilize my newfound expertise to generate innovative solutions and implement initiatives that will uplift and empower those in need. RCBP has not only expanded my horizons but has also given me the confidence and determination to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
